My mother-in-law bought some of these babies. First crop we have had from Cal. They were really tasty and juicy. II never really made anything with them cuz we kept just eating them up.
Fru Rosenlund has arrived. She is so cute. Yes I bought one all the way from Norway , from Ravenhill . I wish I could have gotten one of her birds too. They are so springy also. I was thrilled. Do ya like the purple fabric?? I think I am going to make bathroom curtains with it. Maybe I will crochet a edge at the bottom of the curtain. That is the plan. We will see.

To me they are very relaxing to crochet. Plus bright and cheery. what to do with them????I always seem to use cotton yarn when i make them. I think I am a Cotton holic.

I know what you mean - I always seem to use my cotton Sugar n' Cream yarn too. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment regarding my Easter egg wreath. I didn't count the eggs. I bought one package at my grocery store (a view of it is posted). I think there were about 25 eggs in that packet. I knew I would need more so I picked up another package of eggs in the same colors at Michaels. Together I think it's 40 plus total eggs. I did use all of the eggs I had.

Just love the wreath. Lots of eggs. My parents always did easter egg trees outside when i was growing up. she would string the eggs with yarn and then hang on branches of a bush or tree. Love that idea too.
